Senior Process Owner - Fixed Asset

Job Description: Fixed Asset Accountant About Our Client Our client operates in the packaged foods industry and is a Fortune 500 company with headquarters rooted strongly in the United States. It has branches spread across more than 180 countries and has made a mark through history as a well-passed down legacy business. Their core business is manufacturing and selling a broad range of convenience foods. Responsibilities Primary Function This position will be responsible for reviewing and supporting the fixed asset activities performed by a third-party vendor in order to ensure all activities are submitted with accuracy and with compliance accounting policies. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Provide guidelines in accounting and administrative processes and corporate policies around the globe. Focus on the fulfillment of key controls, internal procedures, statutory requirements, and provide financial education to the organization. Monitor the entire process including monthly, quarterly, and annual activities for the three regions: Latin America, North America, and Europe. Coordinate an internal team and work with a third-party vendor that operates the process to deliver results with accuracy and on time. Coordinate special information requests and ad hoc. Monitor and ensure compliance with SOX, statutory, and audit results. Identify, communicate, and solve risks and opportunities on time. Requirements Public Accountant with three years of experience. Bilingual in English-Spanish. Skills in Excel tool, team leadership, and strategic mindset. Preferable experience in fixed assets and managing people. J-18808-Ljbffr
