We're looking for a Senior Data Protection Legal Advisor for a close-knit and dedicated team of privacy professionals!As a Senior Data Protection Legal Advisor, you will have the opportunity to use your discerning and inquisitive mind, excellent communication skills and ability to think on the go to understand complex business processes and structural projects, to ensure that personal data processing activities are performed in a compliant manner.Your day-to-dayYou will be a part of the Data Protection Office and will dedicate your time and efforts to further the data protection agenda within ING Bank Romania by:- Understanding all existing and proposed data processing activities performed by all business lines (both client facing and internal) and offering specialized support to ensure that business objectives are met in a compliant way.- Providing support and input in designing the optimal data privacy documentation (e.g., DPIA, LIA, TIA).- Participating in the design and development phase of new banking products and processes as ING always seeks to innovate and providing support and input to incorporate the applicable data protection requirements.- Steering the privacy training and awareness activities.- Providing recommendations and coaching the data champions network to ensure that data protection is a well-known and understood building block of our colleagues' daily activity.- Scrutinize processes and initiatives to pragmatically identify risks and deficiencies as well as propose adequate mitigation measures to ensure continuous compliance with the data protection regulations.- Liaise with the National Data Protection Authority during your daily activity.- Keep up to date with relevant trends and updates in the field of data protection both on local and European level.- Collaborate with the first line data protection team and be able to guide them where necessary.- Offer support for contracting initiatives (both internal and external).As a Senior professional you are confident to deliver all of the above in an autonomous way.
