About the role:
We are looking for a Business Consultant in Investment Compliance to join our client's SaaS Delivery team. Successful candidates should have a background and some familiarity with UCITS regulatory framework or similar. You will work with experienced and supportive colleagues who are experts in providing solutions and services to the our client's market units globally. The unique combination of market and our client's Dimension platform expertise creates an environment of quick learning. The global reach of the SaaS Delivery team will give you exposure to different market units and multiple parts of our client's internal organization. We are looking for a Business Consultant who assumes responsibility for keeping our client's solution updated in collaboration with the SaaS Delivery team and colleagues in different client locations.
Requirements: An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Physics, Maths, Law, Science or EngineeringBroad financial market knowledge gained through several years of experience, ideally in the financial sector in one of the following fields: Front Office, Back Office, Accounting, Fund Accounting, Consulting or Professional Services within the Financial sector or implementation role for a software vendorYou have working knowledge of investment funds regulationsYou have experience with the definition of investment restrictions and/or trading limits in financial IT systemsFamiliarity with a broad range of asset classes and financial instrument types, including derivativesExcellent communication skills especially in virtual collaboration and fluency in EnglishAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, while also maintaining appropriate levels of collaboration and cooperation with other team membersAbility to organize yourself well in a distributed environment with diverse and varied tasksDrive to optimize, develop and innovate around solutions and processesWillingness to work in early morning hours up to 40% Nice-to-have's: CFA level 1-3, GARP or PRMIASQL knowledgePractical experience in compliance systems like Sentinel, MIG21, etc.General Business Analysis / Project Management exposureKnowledge of front office or back-office processes and financial transaction workflowsHigh-level understanding of requirements gathering sessionsHigh-level understanding of projects and their lifecycle for the role of a project memberStrong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to deliver quality business outcomesAdditional language skills: German, French, Italian, Nordic languages Job Responsibilities: Configuration, testing and maintenance of investment restrictions in our client's Dimension platform (Compliance Manager)Transforming clients' requirements into configuration-based solutions in our client's Dimension platformPerforming and documenting release/unit tests (for established and new compliance rules)Delivery of a detailed documentation containing business information, standard configuration, testing and performed changes for investment restrictions (configured in our client's Compliance Manager)Supporting clients during user acceptance testsActively participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international levelDesign and deliver an overall solution set to meet client requirements, modelling operational workflows around our client's Dimension platform, customizations and delivering standard configuration solutions, and developing and delivering new solutionsCustomizing the standard components to meet client requirementsAssisting the client in developing an overall test strategy and test plans and support the client in the execution of test cases, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they arisePerform configuration hand-over to colleagues and the client What We Offer Exciting Projects: Come take your place at the forefront of digital transformation!
