Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianResponsabilities. Support Quality Engineering on implementing and maintaining Quality systems to meet the requirements of production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000 Support Engineering in the Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns and Customer notifications received Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc. Support training to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality alerts, etc. Monitor and report CTQ's performance in the processes (i.e. SPC) Support statistical analysis to engineering and production as related to quality issues. Develop and assurance of measurement systems thru the use of statistical tools (i.e. GR&R) Ability to execute process audit, prepare report Qualifications Education level. Engineering Degree complete or in process Years of Experience. 3-5 years of experience in similar position Experience in ISO 9001, TL 9000 is a plus Technical Skills. Reading & Writing English skills desirable SPC Knowledge Experience with problem solving tools Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Visio, Project Manager, SPC Excel, Minitab) Soft Skills. Work independently, and proactively High sense of urgency High level of responsibility Focused in goals Proactive and self motivated Excellent communications skills Exceptional interpersonal skills Additional Skills. Experience on PFD, PFMEA, and Control Plan Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts. SAP & Windchill knowledge desirable Experience in use of measurement tools ( CMM, Optical Comparator, Microna) Drawing Interpretation
