The Quality Engineer (I - III) is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc) in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer's requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE's business needs.- Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due customer (internal-external) complaints.- Define, design, develop and Implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.- Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.- Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP.- Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.- Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.- Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.- Defines SPC to manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasure.- Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools.- Stay current with the changes in the standards and the applicable product and systems regulations.- Participate in MRB meetings to ensure proper disposition of discrepant material.- Monitor Key KPIs.
