We are seeking a Principal Consultant Engineer within our Global Professional Services organization based in Mexico City. Major responsibility is to provide consulting services within the Advanced Process Control (APC)/ GDOT Engineering Services Group focusing on process industry optimization and computer based process modelling. This is a unique position for an exceptional Engineer to work on project implementation working closely with customers using our suite of closed loop optimization technologies. The candidate will execute most of the project work from project start to finish and would require traveling to customer locations from time to time.Your Impact Deliver consulting services including; solutions architecture & design, implementation, training and advisory services in supporting client's exploitation of AspenTech Petroleum Planning, Scheduling & Blending (PS&B) solutions, APC and Generic Dynamic Optimization Technology (GDOT). Solutions Architect for Petroleum supply-chain projects having credibility, gravitas and proven ability to gather, document and implement Client requirements and address the business process issues that AspenTech solutions address. Design and configure model-based decision support systems and data integration with external systems and databases. Co-ordinate solution delivery in concert with AspenTech Project Management and the Client to ensure projects achieve stated milestones, delivery dates and financial goals. Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and develop opportunities for additional Services. Work cooperatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, RD and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion. Assist the sales organization and Services management team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals to major corporate clients. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 year's of experience required. Background with process operation, Advanced Process Control (APC), or process optimization will be an advantage for this role. Operations experience in process industry. Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies. A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationship.
