PRE-COMMISSIONING ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR required by our Client to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Mexico.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of projects. They are responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying, and addressing non-conformances, and maintaining accurate documentation. Project Oversight: Demonstrate good understanding of Brownfield and Greenfield projects. Monitor pre-commissioning progress against project requirements. Identify potential schedule delays and recommend mitigation actions. Contribute to the sign-off process of pre-commissioning task sheets. Interface and communicate effectively with construction teams to optimize schedules. Ensure system Clients are assigned and that punching,hold,and witness points are consistently applied. Inspection and Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Verify compliance with company HSE procedures,standards,and project schedules. Monitor the proper succession of pre-commissioning and commissioning sequences. Follow established procedures for EasyPlant database preparation. Verify pre-commissioning and commissioning files and corresponding dossiers. Monitor progress of pre-commissioning activities and report findings. Reporting and Documentation: Submit weekly reports to superiors and prepare special reports as required. Maintain accurate and comprehensive inspection records. Collaboration and Support: Assist commissioning teams with commissioning and handover activities. Review generated reports and provide support and guidance as needed. Additional Duties: Carry out any other duties or tasks assigned by superiors. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or inspection in Oil and Gas Industry. Strong understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning processes. Excellent communication,interpersonal,and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
