Molding Supervisor

**What your background should look like**:**ACTIVITIES**:- Advises management on engineering problems and assists production management using statistical and engineering techniques and tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, TQM, TPM, TPM, JIT, etc.- Supervises and coordinates activities with direct subordinates to facilitate the implementation and operation of VS engineering systems.- Reviews engineering designs in accordance with customer requirements, engineering principles and organizational standards. Validates and authorizes procedures and operating standards of the engineering function.- Supervises or conducts research, studies and special tests to evaluate the efficiency of new designs.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing.- Minimum 5 years of experience working with a manufacturing organization (extrusion area desirable) with proven success in streamlining processes and increasing production through continuous improvement.- Knowledge of manufacturing systems, GMP (Good manufacturing Practices), MRP, MTM Systems, new product introduction processes, process re-engineering, maintenance, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, project management, ISO, QS, health and safety standards, etc.- Strong business acumen, excellent management skills to accomplish multiple projects and demands on time.- Requires leadership and team building skills.- Advanced English**Competencies**:- Motivating Others- Managing and Measuring Work- Building Effective Teams- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
