The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating marketing collateral for campaigns and other content for social media, such as posts, presentation templates, branding kits, landing pages, email designs, illustrations, animations, as well as diverse assets needed for company events, executive reports, virtual catalogs, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet documented deadlines and complete tasks in accordance to project milestones while following code standards.Communicate the status of your work to Project Managers and participate in a project team and department calls.Maintain brand guidelines and visual design standards across all visual communications.Work directly with lead designers, product owners and other stakeholders to complete assigned tasks.Participate in ideation, design thinking and brainstorming sessions.Design, build and maintain branded components for scalability.Develop material for web and print: involves creating new brand systems and brand voice, discovery and branding research, logo marks, typographic hierarchy, templates, etc. ranging from full websites, social and digital ad campaigns, to print collateral.Provide constant support and maintenance to social media managers and content creators.Create UI design concepts in Figma needed for new web pages, campaign landing pages, email marketing, offline presentations, ppc ad campaigns, video or multimedia graphics, and social media.Participate in designing, organizing and maintaining libraries for scalable design systems in Figma, Brizy, WordPress and code libraries.Ensure brand standards are met across all platforms.Collaborate with copywriter, content and marketing team members as well as with software engineers to facilitate the development of all projects.You will be responsible for presenting directly to stakeholders and pitching your ideas in a professional manner.Ability to be proactive and take ownership of the projects assigned to you from concept to completion.Ability to travel occasionally to our sister offices in TJ, SD, MTY, to be part of strategic planning meetings as well as other activities related to the department.You will need to participate in company culture events, team building dynamics and training workshops when requested. QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent knowledge of design principles (balance, contrasts, hierarchy, typography, grid systems, etc).A strong design background, multidisciplinary experience such as: comprehensive brand systems (including social media and digital ad campaign assets), feature-rich websites, robust print pieces, and digital presentation decks. Including: Strong grasp of typographic hierarchy, color palette and image making; playful, vibrant, lush designs across type-, graphic-, and photographic-based work.Preferred experience in UX-UI is welcomed but not necessary.Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe InDesign, Ps, Ai, Affinity Designer, etc.Familiarity with WordPress web builders (Brizy, Elementor).Basic experience with Email Marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Active Campaign preferred.Basic experience with Social Media trends, formats and content management platforms.Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.6+ years of experience working as graphic or visual designer.Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate design decisions for design presentations.Attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.Excellent organizational skills with ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects.An open, positive, and empathetic personality.Demonstrates ability to build trusted partnerships with project managers, designers, web developers, and other stakeholders.Practices giving and taking feedback with a positive and curious attitude.Proven experience in a similar role as a freelance, in house, or agency.Ability to work on multiple projects at once, some on strict deadlines.Problem-solver approach and common sense to ensure delivery.Familiar with communication tools (Slack, Discord, Google meet).
