RESPONSIBILITIES  Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for inventory-related projects. Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices, including inventory control, optimization, and accuracy. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehousing, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless inventory operations. Inventory Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities for improvement. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues that may arise. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory management, such as stockouts, overstocking, and obsolete inventory. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management and provide regular reports to management on project progress and performance. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.  Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to inventory management, including inventory valuation and financial reporting requirements.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Job Qualifications:  5+ years of experience in procurement field. Preferably, a bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields. Additional certifications in procurement management or supply chain are an advantage.                  Preferred Qualifications:  Understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation. Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management. Ability to analyze data, assess costs, and make informed decisions based on financial and market analysis. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively. Capability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Being meticulous in evaluating supplier capabilities, assessing quality, and ensuring compliance. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement, or a related field is beneficial.
