Hse Supervisor

ALTEN MÉXICO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team. As a subsidiary of ALTEN Group, a global leader in engineering and information technology, we provide specialized solutions for engineering and technology projects across industries.
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs and initiatives. This includes developing and maintaining HSE policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, and providing training to employees on HSE matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HSE principles and regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards in the workplace. Maintain and update records related to incidents, near misses, and safety inspections. Provide training to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions. Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and emergency response teams. Monitor HSE performance indicators and develop improvement plans as needed. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field. Knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards. Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
