Financial Analyst

Required:Commute distance of Merida, Mexico (Areyou currently residing within commute distance of this área-):Work closely with Vnance to assure accurate monthly, quarterly and annunancial reporting. This role will provide support to management through information analysis (e.g. actual performance vs. budget and prior yearecasting, etc.) and preparation of operational data/analysr publication to various constituents throughout company who rely on/benefom the information to make informed business decisions.ESSENTIAL POSITINCTIONS:- Analynancial performance against key business metrics that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.- Prepare daily sales reporting across multiple business units during peak periods.- Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget.- Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.- Routine communication with Supervisors relating nancial close, issues and deliverables.- Provides administrative support nance and treasury, as needed.- Create weekly sales report until system automation is complete- All other duties as needed or requiredSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills- Data mining and report tool Importante empresa with is preferred, but not required (JD Edwards, AS400, NetSuite, Catalyst)- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel is required and essential to the role- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required- Detail oriented with a knowledge of (GAAP) accounting procedures anancial report practices- Capable to safeguard sensitive and confidential informatiom intentional or unintentional disclosure- Composure to work independently and can interact with coworkers and management- Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and to work under time pressure to meet deadlinesEDUCATION/Importante empresa:- Bachelor's degree nance or AccountingNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Balfour & Co. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
