Job DescriptionAs part of Airbus Defence and Space (AIR ST) you will have the following responsibilities:Ability to design structure components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured using appropriate design tools;Ability to verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single sub-system / equipment / component / module;This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.QualificationsYou will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:Bachelor's / Master's degree in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or similar field;At least 5 years of design experience in aerospace/space manufacturing;Detailed design knowledge of structural elements / components;VPM knowledge is desirable;Experience working with Catia V5 and Catia V6;Understanding of manufacturing processes and non-metallic materials is required;Self-reliant and systematic way of working;Independent working method and high quality awareness;Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German would be an advantage
