As Customs Director will have an excellent opportunity to work in an International and growing environment reporting directly to a VP Global Indirect Tax and Customs. Your tasks will be: Proactively takes responsibility for the reliable, efficient, correct, and compliant movement of raw materials, components, M.R.O., and M & E across the international borders. Active involvement in the customs operations processes ensuring strict compliance in customs laws and regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to apply automatization, enhance controls, security, and compliance over the company's supply chains. Assures that corporate and divisional goals and objectives are in line with applicable customs laws and regulations and advise to upper management the necessary adjustments when necessary. Be an advisor to upper management on legal customs and foreign trade compliance rules and regulations with a mind set to risk prevention. Supports corporate and divisional initiatives by making the necessary operational adjustments without sacrificing compliance. To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have: Education: Engineering, Bachelor's degree, or any related career. Masters' Degree In a related field. Computer package management. Experience in similar positions preferably in companies of the automotive sector. Fully Bilingual. Knowledge of SAP, QAD or similar ERP's. Knowledge of US Customs, C-TPAT and AEO Programs procedures.
