As Wasserman supports flexible working environments, the successful candidate will be required to work from both the office in Mexico City and a remote location. EXPERIENTIAL The Associate Director is a senior position on Wasserman's Experiential Team with responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects, from brief to execution for Wasserman's Experiential division. The Associate Director will ensure that all of the projects' relevant resources including operations and logistics are allocated and delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality as expected by Wasserman and its clients.
Additionally, the Associate Director will contribute to the Departments operations, processes, budgeting (for live projects and pitches), agency quality control, third-party supplier management, execution, as well as continually mentoring and developing the Operations and Production Team members.
Duties: ·       Responsible for overseeing and managing various elements of the project from planning through to execution.
·       Ensure flawless project delivery against the client's objectives and agreed budget.
·       Manage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, registration, graphics, event flow, creative, food and beverage, transportation, staffing, venue and labor among others.
·       Regular communication with the client regarding roles and responsibilities, budget, schedules and project status.
·       Responsible for ensuring that projects are correctly budgeted for and meet expected financial targets.
·       Develop production schedules, run of shows, and enforce deliverable dates key to program's success.
·       Responsible for building and maintaining effective client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are addressed in a timely way though out duration of the project.
·       Responsible for debriefing sessions with the client with complete reports including evidence of each project, feedback, and learnings.
·       Manage and develop the relationships with Wasserman trusted suppliers and third parties, though out the duration of the project.
·       Creates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values.
·       Promotes a team environment and provides work direction and guidance including coaching, professional development, and training; guides team on deliverables, and ensures best practices with project management.
·       Ensures that all project processes and procedures are completed, and quality standards are met.
·       Thinks daily about business development and new revenue opportunities with existing clients and potential clients.
·       Attends conferences, tradeshows, etc., as necessary to ensure Wasserman always provides best-in-class programs and increases its product offering to industry-leading clients.
·       Ensures consistent positive working relationships between department and client service team members.
Supplier Management: ·       Works with colleagues to ensure that all agency suppliers meet Wasserman standards of sustainability, ethical purchasing, quality control and pricing structure.
·       Working with LATAM SVP to select and recruit the necessary and most appropriate suppliers for each project and as agreed with each of the account teams.
·       Oversee successful supplier delivery throughout the duration of each project.
BRAND CONSULTING As a key member of Wasserman's industry-leading Consulting Division, you will take a leadership position on the team responsible for providing strategic marketing services for corporate brand clients. This team specializes in delivering insight and data-led brand strategy, specifically in the areas of sponsorship, sport, entertainment, and culture. Client deliverables will include market landscapes, competitive analysis, partnership & program evaluation, partnership negotiation, business planning and other services aimed at guiding a brands strategy and investments.
Duties: ·       Leading and managing senior client relationships with a steadfast commitment to exceptional service.
·       Mentoring, managing, and developing a high-performance team of consulting professionals.
·       Directing the development and implementation of brand and client solutions across internal business units including creative strategy and development, concept/campaign ideation and measurement frameworks.
·       Developing detailed and tactical roadmaps & frameworks that align strategy to implementation.
·       Leading detailed program and partnership evaluation, utilizing proprietary and industry measurement tools.
·       Creating sophisticated thought leadership deliverables, bringing a well-informed, inspired point of view.
·       Driving project management, determining critical milestones, guiding internal parties and reporting results.
·       Thinking daily about business development and new revenue opportunities with existing clients and potential clients.
·       Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
·       10+ years relevant operations experience (preferably in the experiential, sports or entertainment field) and developing sponsorship marketing solutions for brands.
·       5+ years of proven people leadership experience.
·       Direct experience in account and project management in a supervisory role.
·       Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines.
·       Possesses exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
·       Bilingual English – Spanish.
·       Open-minded mentality, allowing thorough exploration of all ideas and thought-starters.
·       Needs to be a focused, strong-minded individual with ambition to help grow the company.
·       Must thrive on a fast-paced environment and possess a 'can-do' attitude continuously.
·       Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
·       Must have gravitas to present and communicate with senior clients.
·       Must be able to think strategically.
