As a TRANSPORTATION PLANNER ANALYST, you will ensure the efficient execution of outbound, inbound and interplant transportation plans improving logistics costs and ensuring timely delivery.You will report to Transport Coordinator.**Key Responsibilities**- Allocate freight to carriers.- Lead transportation events to ensure manufacturing at manufacturing sites and customer happiness.- Improve transportation unit loads to ensure service and delivery levels.- Develop and coordinate tactical transportation plans.- Implement programs to improve operating costs.- Evaluate service levels of freight carriers.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.- Validated experience in Domestic and International Materials Transportation.- 1+ years of experience with Oracle transportation management system preferred.- Transportation vendor management.**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
