Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:Gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (six months) and learn by doing tasks as directed to support ABB operations and enhance personal education/employment opportunities.**This position reports to**:Procurement Team Lead**Your responsibilities**:- Placing requisitions and purchase orders.- Tracking open purchase orders (deliveries/transit).- Support for analysis of payments and invoices to suppliers.- Monitoring of reports and demand analysis.- Implementation of process improvement ideas.**Your background**:- Active student of Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/International Business, Mechanical Engineering, Administrator, Industrial Engineering or Logistics.- Optional insurance for at least six months with the possibility of extension to 1 year.- Conversational/fluent English level.- Knowledge of supply chain, materials planning and purchasing.- Basic knowledge of logistics/impo-expo.- Advanced Microsoft Excel and SAP MM (desirable)- Schedule availability between 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.**More about us**:
