Position Overview: Newland Chase Immigration Supervisors lead a team of Immigration Consultants in coordinating global immigration services. Our Immigration Supervisors ensure their teams provide clients with compliant and best-practice immigration guidance and service. They have an expert-level understanding of immigration law and process, and provide business solutions that bring success to the client and the team. Responsibilities: Supervise a team of immigration consultants, balancing caseloads for appropriate volume and complexity. Coach and guide the team on technical and complex issues throughout the immigration process Encourage and motivate consultants to manage case volumes and client needs Meet with clients, local authorities, and external providers to support consultants when appropriate May personally manage complex cases and/or high-profile clients; assist with client escalations Develop and review case process flows as needed Monitor quality assurance of casework Regularly complete case closure and fee audit procedures for the team Hold regular team meetings to ensure a two-way communication flow and to provide updates and other information critical to the team Participate in the hiring and selection of team members Ensure the team receives full training and that there is a development plan for each team member Complete performance evaluations and reviews with team members Maintain a close working relationship with leadership, ensuring awareness of areas such as escalations and trends, current case data, team achievements, consultant resourcing Participate in periodic meetings with peers/managers/directors from other offices and regions to collaborate on processes, participate in audits and other operations matters as needed Manage relationships with network partners for the region, including regular meetings and annual reviews of performance by the network partner Analyze data and present as requested Actively participate in business development, identifying and pursuing new business leads. Assist with RFPs and implementation and transition of new accounts Evaluate and improve processes; coach the team to do the same Support the selection, oversight, and monitoring of external service providers Ensure the team's client invoicing is accurate and timely Travel as required; attend client visits; represent Newland Chase as requested Maintain strict client confidentiality, ensuring secure document handling and protection of client Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and all other data Complete all work in strict compliance with law, regulations, and company policies, supporting CIBT's and Newland Chase's strong ethical culture Stay current with immigration laws and requirements and industry best practice Requirements: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree 7 years' global immigration experience Proven success managing a team Fluency in written and spoken English Exceptional leadership and communication skills Proven client service mentality and solutions-focus Expert analytical skills Ability to present on complex topics Ability to work in a discreet and sensitive manner Ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Proficient with and ability to learn industry-related database and case management systems. Skillful with legal form completion and review.
