Eaton's ES CRDS RESI Residential division is currently seeking a Quality Lead. What you'll do: Provide Support and leadership on Quality, product integrity and continuous improvement processes and systems aimed to achieve customer satisfaction. Provide overall leadership and direction in support of the internal process assembly and feeders and all other external customers on all BPI, Six Sigma, Quality and LEAN activities. Focuses on parts/product safety and warranty for the customer. Carries out and lead root cause analysis and resolution for customer issues. Steers the approach of product quality to ensure warranty targets are met and minimized. Define and lead projects in order to improve plant's indicators (PPM, Warranty Claims, Fill Rate, On-Time Performance, Yield, and Scrap). • Lead & develop quality strategy and coordinate cross-functional activities to implement the Eaton Quality system at Bravos plant in order to achieve operational excellence. • Responsible for quality performance of assembly and feeder's areas and identify root cause and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions on a monthly basis. • Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions on opportunities identified at the internal assessment or monthly performance operation review. • Lead the quality and warranty management process, develop warranty laboratory equipment and resources, procedures and manuals. • Responsible to lead work's team in the deployment of Eaton Quality System, Six Sigma Projects at Bravos Plant • Along with the OPEX and Business Improvement Managers, assure identification and implementation of capital projects and cost out related to internal and external customer improvement. • Participate and provide support in Quality System, Support ISO 9001:2015 certification and EQS Policies. • Participate in appropriations and Capital Spending/Appropriation request for required projects. • Ensured that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. • Performs and leads Warranty Claim and Failure Mode Investigation and Analysis; resolves warranty issues and promptly responds to customer concerns and requirements. • Provides quality performance trend analysis and reports key quality and product integrity metrics. • Provide insight and feedback related to product performance to the Manufacturing Engineering and Product Engineering groups. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree on industrial, electrical or electromechanical engineering, business administration or other science. Preferable Master degree in Quality, engineering, administration or other science. Minimum experience of 5-7 years in similar positions. Skills: • Full Bilingual (English / Spanish) • Preferable: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification • Strong skills for problem solving (8D, Pareto, 5 Why's, A3, etc.) • Project Management Knowledge • Preferable: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE certification) • Knowledge in the interpretation of ISO 9001 requirements • Lead auditor ISO 9001-2015 • PC knowledge: Minitab, Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS Vision, Access Auto Cad," "• Thinks and Acts Strategically • Gets Results • Builds Organizational Capability • Demonstrates Leadership Style."
