Quality Engineer

Your tasks- Detains production process if the product quality is at risk- Drives structured Problem Solving- Participates in improvement projects in all processes if required- Statistical analysis of process quality data- Production process capability studies- Update quality control plans and defines test frequencies according to PPAP- Leads and participates in internal audits (system, process and product)- Follow up on non conformities and audit results- Creates work instruction and visual aids- Responsible for Quality specifications and instructions on the shop floor- Review customer complaints- Assure that corrective actions are in place- Implements core tools (FMEA, CP, PPAP, MSA, APQP...)- Trains new employees in quality topics**Profile**:- Bachelor's degree: Engineering- Advanced English- 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance- Knowledge:- Core Tools (FMEA, CP, PPAP, MSA, APQP, SPC...)- Problem solving methodology A3/8D- ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 internal auditor- Six Sigma yellow belt or higher (desirable)- SAP system (desirable)- Rubber processing (desirable)**Offer**:At Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
