New Product Development - Engineer

**Job ID: PHU4/CNC/2023-24/01****Key Performance Area**:- Conduct feasibility study within the stipulated time on receipt of the RFQ.- Work with the marketing team to prepare costing and update BOM.- Analyse new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionalities for all new product development.- Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates.- On receipt of ECN from the customer, review feasibility and update BOM.- CFT Meeting for the ECN and review WIP.- Business realization for new parts of existing customers (excluding parts replacing current business)- Business realization from new customers (excluding parts replacing current business)- Analyse product cost and prepare schedule plans for effective implementation of projects.- Prepare and approve product design and test plans, review design and recommend adequate changes to the approved models before actual role out of new products.- Approve prototypes of new designs, conduct performance analysis of prototypes, and ensure assemblage of products follow company's quality parameters.- Document records for all project proposal and associated activities.- Ensure to deliver first time right products or parts, eliminate rework to improve quality standards and reduce cost.- Standardize drawings wherever required.- SAP input must be done for part number creation within the timeline.- Aim and achieve accurate BOM.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a focus on technical excellence, responsiveness to customers and innovative thinking is required.- Effective communication with the team and the customer.- Able to fix design issues and find a resolution as quickly as possible.- Effective team player.- Experience in 3D Modelling Software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a must.**Job Features**:- Job Category- Full Time- Location- Kannivakkam Guduvanchery - PHU4- CNC- Experience- 5+ years- Preference- Manufacturing industry- Education- BE/Diploma- Industry- OEM or any Manufacturing Industry- Language- English- Date of Advt- 13.02.2024
