Implements production and large-scale manufacturing procedures in a production environment in order to optimize processes and meet regulatory requirements. May review existing operational and process discrepancies in manufacturing and provide technical expertise to improve procedures. Continuously comply will all related regulatory requirements.Responsible to stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product condition.Understand and maintain the Key Performance Indicators for efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.Understand and maintain production is cost effective by monitoring overhead, materials, hours, throughput.Promotes engagement and lead impact planning activities to meet or exceed the business key performance indicators.Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.Ensure Operation of Equipment in collaboration with the Maintenance and Engineering Department.Participates in Operational meetings, Unit Reviews, Staffing Reviews and any other presentation to management.Liaison between management, support team and manufacturing associates.Identify EHS risks in his/her area and implement controls to minimize them. Ensure that associates have current knowledge of the EHS risks associate to his/her area and the benefits of improved EHS performance.Will coordinate the activities of at least 40 or more employees.Appraises the performance of subordinates based on pre-established performance parameters and recommends the appropriate development plans. Recommends or initiates personal measures such as promotions, transfers, dismissals and disciplinary actions.What you need2+ years of experience as Production Supervisor, preferably in Medical Devices IndustryEngineering or other Professional Degree or Equivalent ExperienceProficient in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel and Power Point), Internet browsers and Email Software.Experiencie with Workday and/or TRESS desirableIntermediated English (Desirable)Analitic skills, problem solving and decision makingCommunication, conflict resolution and supervisory skillsFlexibility and change managementAvailability to work in the 2nd or 4th Shift (Nocturne shifts)
