Maintenance Supervisor (Molding)

Descripción y detalle de las actividadesSupports Manager through directing and coordinating activities of maintenance crew ;engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines and equipment. Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner. Also responsible for maintenance of buildings and utility systems. - Reviews job orders to determine work priorities. Schedules repair, maintenance and installation of machines, robots and equipment to ensure continuous production operations. - Coordinates activities of maintenance workers fabricating or modifying machines, Robotic or auxiliary equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products. - Directs maintenance activities on utility system to provide continuous supply of heat, cold air, electric power, gas, chilled water or air required for operations. - Develops preventive maintenance program in conjunction with production and maintenance staff. - Reviews maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. - Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. - Plans, develops and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs and effect greater utilization of labor and materials. - Reviews and design equipment needs or special apparatus for faulty part detection, or automation.Experiência y requisitosEducation and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field. Experience supervising, training, and providing direction to maintenance personnel, strong troubleshooting skills, thorough knowledge on electrical schematics and blue prints, PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge, experience in implementing strong maintenance schedule programs and ability to develop maintenance solutions based on Lean principles. Contractor/vendor oversight. Ten years of related experience, with at least five in management.
