In this role, we are looking for a ProShip Technical Support, whose objective is to support Management from an operational, analytical, and tactical standpoint, by handling stakeholder requests, solving team's questions, auditing, and controlling different activities from colleagues on the operations floor, along with running reports, maintaining files and leading continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities• Codes bug fixes, enhancements, and business rule changes in our ProShip scripts (VB script & VB.Net).• Is familiar with the multiple host OMS interfaces within the scripts.• Creates and maintains shipper accounts under the direction of Corporate Transportation.• Monitors scheduled program runs.• Researches issues using ProCyclopedia.• Troubleshoots incidents that arise; provides feedback to internal customers; opens cases with ProShip support when an issue requires it.• Maintains UPS rate files and applies periodic updates in conjunction with Corporate Transportation.• Maintains a list of ProShip workstation inventory.• Periodically answers requests for special shipping projects which require the loading of ship-to addresses to the ProShip "addressbook" table, and the generation of a barcoded order retrieval sheet (PDF) to facilitate the loading and shipping of these addresses via ProShip Velocity.• Creates ServiceNow change requests for the promotion of script changes &/or core component updates to production. This includes full documentation of each change per SOX requirements, the moving of script changes using IVC (Integrated Version Control) source control software from DEV to QA to PROD, and using the ProShip Update Tool to apply recent core component changes to the server.• Maintains the health and operability of 5 on-premise ProShip servers: DEV, QA, PROD, PSO (ProShip Office) and FEDEX (our FedEx-dedicated server).• Looks for opportunities to streamline processing and save shipping costs.• Supports the standing up of new ProShip Velocity workstations (including software installation) and auto-shipper conveyor systems (ILS) and troubleshoots issues with their operations including problems with scales, barcode scanners, label printers, etc.• Periodically conducts SOX reviews at the direction of the Shutterfly audit team.• Works with ProShip Office – maintaining and developing queries and reports; periodically reviews user list and removes terminated users.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsGraduation: Bachelor's degree, B.
