Description Position Summary: The Human Resources Director (HRD) LATAM will lead the NSF LATAM Human Resources team in support of the global HR strategy and the NSF mission, strategy and goals for growth and innovation. The Director will oversee the LATAM HR support function, ensuring implementation of the HR strategy and goals, supporting leaders and employees in their performance and development, providing coaching and guidance to leaders to support the business, and implementing global processes and standards that enable consistent service and support of organizational growth. This Director, HR will oversee the Global Labs Division, ensuring implementation of the HR strategy and goals, supporting leaders and employees in their performance and development, providing coaching and guidance to leaders to support the business, and implementing global processes and standards that enable consistent service and support of organizational growth. This position is a key part of the HR leadership team. Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads implementation of the global HR strategy within NSF LATAM and Global Labs Division and within the context of the global HR organization, collaboratively leading the implementation of short and long-term goals, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures for the Human Resources support function aligned with the NSF mission, values, and strategy. Collaborates with global HR team, HRLT and VP HR to direct and manage the global HR strategy. Collaborates with global HR Centers of Expertise, aligning NSF LATAM HR activities with global HR standards and processes. Responsible for selecting, leading, assessing, and developing a high performing HR workforce to provide excellent service across the assigned division and region. Accountable for achieving HR departmental and organizational goals aligned with global HR strategy, providing input the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), and ensuring HR budget spend is aligned with global HR budget for NSF LATAM. Leads human capital aspects of new operations in the region as well as pre- Merger and Acquisitions (M&A), due diligence and integration of acquisitions that may occur. In collaboration and alignment with the global talent management team and leadership development strategy, directs learning and development activities within assigned division and region. Ensures leaders are developed to leader competencies/expectations and employees are developed and trained for current and future roles. Provides informal (coaching) and formal development for leaders within NSF LATAM. Through alignment with global talent acquisition team, accountable for recruitment and retention strategies, processes, and services within NSF LATAM to ensure high performing workforce and talent onboard to meet departmental and organizational objectives. Collaborating with the global total rewards team, establishes and manages compensation processes and policies aligned with the global total rewards strategy, to ensure the best workforce at acceptable cost for NSF LATAM, including annual merit and bonus processes. Ensures cost-effective benefit programs are in place in each location within NSF LATAM which establish NSF as a competitive employer and meet local legal requirements. Leads positive employee relations and ensures legal compliance regarding management of employee issues. Accountable for HRIS data integrity across NSF LATAM and Global Labs Division, collaborating with the Center of Expertise for HRIS to ensure system implementations and maintenance meet the global data standardization strategy and accurate reporting. Experience: Demonstrated global experience partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders to create and execute HR, regional and/or business strategies Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to solve business problems Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change to accelerate growth of the business Demonstrated ability to partner with HR Centers of Expertise to turn business needs into innovative practices that drive a high performing organization Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, including selecting and developing talent, building trust, coaching team members, and managing performance resulting in high performing teams Merger and Acquisition experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to learn and respond quickly to organizational needs, demonstrating resiliency in various situations, adapting quickly to changing needs of the business Demonstrated ability to translate organizational needs into strategies and solutions for the business Must actively model all NSF core values: We demand the highest ethics and integrity.
