C.H. Robinson is looking to hire a Freight Pay Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for answering all carrier freight pay related questions including client invoicing, adjustments, and credits. As the Freight Pay Analyst you will work closely with client and carrier contacts to ensure timely and accurate payment and will identify and implement process efficiencies to improve overall strategic initiatives. We are looking for someone with excellent time management, problem solving, analytical, and customer service skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify operational efficiency gains in customer supply chain (suppliers, carriers, and dealers)Provide prompt and professional response to customer and/or carrier requests for additional informationWork with operational team to train on standard freight pay proceduresFacilitate weekly calls with customer/carrier regarding open issuesReconcile invoicing using current customer and carrier contractsMaintain weekly fuel surcharge scheduleMaintain monthly/daily reporting routines and metric deadlinesEnsure freight pay and billing processes comply with compliance guidelinesIdentify and troubleshoot invoicing errors and discrepanciesAnalyze current accounts payables and receivables and identify payment discrepancies QUALIFICATIONS Required:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or universityMinimum 1 year of Freight Payment or related experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsAbility to travel up to 5% (domestically and internationally)Preferred:
General knowledge of reporting systems such as Crystal Seagate, SQL, Microsoft AccessDegree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Supply Chain focusAP/AR experienceSupply Chain, Logistics, and/or Transportation experienceAbility to work a flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requestedAbility to think critically and solve problems quickly and accuratelyValues a diverse and inclusive work environment Disclaimer: This job description is intended to generally describe the nature and level of work to be performed by employees in this position.
