We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Content Strategist to lead our content marketing efforts at TripShepherd. As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be responsible for shaping our brand voice, developing content strategies, and driving customer engagement and loyalty through compelling storytelling and impactful content.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with TripShepherd's brand identity, objectives, and target audience. Lead content planning, creation, and distribution across various channels including blogs, social media, email, video, and other digital platforms. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor insights to inform content strategy and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, product, and sales to ensure content alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and business initiatives. Oversee content production, including writing, editing, and optimization for SEO, to enhance organic visibility, website traffic, and search engine rankings. Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, engagement metrics, and user feedback to measure effectiveness and make data-driven improvements. Stay updated with content marketing trends, best practices, and industry innovations to continuously enhance content strategy, storytelling, and audience engagement. Mentor and coach junior content team members, freelancers, and contributors to maintain brand consistency, quality standards, and creative excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field. 5+ years of proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Marketing Manager, or similar senior role in the travel, tech, or related industry. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on creating compelling, audience-centric content. Expertise in developing and executing content strategies across multiple platforms including blogs, social media, email, video, and other digital channels. In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization techniques. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools to track content performance, measure ROI, and drive data-driven decisions. Strategic thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to translate business objectives into effective content strategies and campaigns.
