The ideal candidate will play a key role in capital raising, interacting with international institutional investors, and handle the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth. The position's location can be flexible. What the job involves Arrange for debt and equity financingLead and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structureRepresent the company with banks, investment bankers and investors, stakeholders, and joint venturesDrive the company's financial planning, accounting and develop tax strategiesParticipate in the approval of investments & divestmentsPerform risk management by analysing the organisation's liabilities to decide on investment strategiesSupervise all finance personnel (controllers, planning, treasurers etc.)Manage the capital requests and budgeting processesParticipate in key decisions as a member of the executive management teamSupervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate investmentsReport financial results and risk issues to the board of directorsEnsure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirementsMaintain relations with external auditors to investigate their findings and recommendationsWho we are looking for Demonstrated experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in real estate development, the construction industry, private equity and/ or investment bankingBachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA is desirableSuperior financial and business skillsConsummate communicator, developing ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAnalytical thinker and detail orientedBilingual fluency in English and SpanishAvailability to travel
