The Accounting Supervisor must possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of financial systems, and at least four years' experience in Finance and Accounting. Professional level of English is a must.
Qualifications: The Accounting Supervisor will assist in the facilitation of all accounting functions. S/he must ensure accurate and timely information to relevant personnel and management. The Accounting Supervisor must be well organized with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. S/he must possess strong problem solving, and time management skills, with attention to detail, following through on projects and handling multiple tasks. The Accounting Supervisor must possess managerial skills. S/he must also take initiative, juggle conflicting priorities and function well in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities: Accounting and Compliance: -Perform monthly journal entries in companies ledgers and other month close activities, including reconciling account balances and ensuring accurate reporting.
-Support internal and statutory audits and coordinate with tax consultants.
-Responsible for local tax and statutory compliance including direct and indirect tax, income tax, payroll tax and employee benefits.
-Review monthly Intercompany reconciliations and minimize out of balance.
-Adhere to internal controls systems and procedures and company guidelines.
-Support cash flow forecast and funds management.
-Provide information for tax and transfer pricing audit, assessments, and tax return filing
-Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP, including monthly reconciliation of ledgers and book codes.
-Serve as an integral part of the financial management team.
-Assist in preparation of budget and forecasts.
-Participate in development and implementation of various initiatives, policies and procedures relating to the overall area of client finance.
-Assist with identifying solutions to financial challenges.
-Provide timely response to all requests and inquiries.
-Oversee the running of all required month-end reports and files for business units.
-Lead special projects utilizing PowerPoint/Excel for presentations on financial data.
-Evaluate the integrity of financial accounting systems and processes.
People Development: -Contribute to performance appraisal process for peers and managers.
-Manage junior staff member.
-Build a working relationship and communication with staff as well as provide the appropriate support.
-Engage in team building activities.
