3009 Cad Design Engineer Mid

We are currently seeking a CAD Design Engineer Mid to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CAD models, designing components and assemblies, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the CAD data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize product designs, and contribute to the development of engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
General Activities:

*Lead new design ideation & development
*Develop packaging studies and evaluate to specifications
*Ensure gDAP (Design Assurrance Plan) & Packaging Checklist/ CS-Routing is completed prior to each release
*Ensure Clash & Clearance Computer Aided Design (CAD) Step verification is completed & issues managed
*Develop vehicle occupant packages for vehicles
*Application of Vehicle Occupant Packaging (VOP) Computer Aided Design (Computer Aided Design (CAD) templates to all programs
*Incorporation of competitive scan data into Teamcenter & dimensional data systems.
*Compliance report submission for specific domains
Mechanical Engineering is a plus
Desireable experience with electronic systems CAD Experience is a must
Jira experience is a plus
Automotive experience is a plus
Proficient knowledge/experience of TeamCenter, NX and VisProfessional viewer Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Wellness Resources
