RESPONSIBILITIES: Creation of 3D drawings for complete water treatment systems as part of a design team;
Development of equipment skid layouts to optimize footprint and ease of operation under the guidance of the engineering team and other designers;
Draw equipment, valves and instrumentation component models in 3D for use in overall plant models;
Draw process schematics such as P&IDs and PFDs under the guidance of engineers;
Create frame drawings for internal and external fabrication including cut lists;
Create spool drawings for internal and external fabrication;
Preparation of bills of materials for ordering components.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES DESIRED:
Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English required;
French language skills are an asset;
Ability to use software based in English;
Related work experience in water treatment or similar field preferred;
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
Drinking water, process water and wastewater knowledge is an asset;
Ability to work on multiple assignments and take direction from multiple engineers;
Experience with AutoCAD 3D (and ideally Inventor) and familiarity with AutoDesks?s Vault desired;
Ability to produce 3D assemblies and parts;
Minimum 2 years experience in a technical discipline;
Membrane, media and wastewater experience helpful.
