The role is for a senior Voice Surveillance Subject Matter Expert responsible for defining strategy, architecture, product and standards for this technology domain within Citi.
This role is a member of the Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Network and Voice Services Voice Engineering team, which is responsible for owning and maintaining Voice Surveillance, Contact Center, Enterprise Telephony and Trade Floor Voice and Global Dial Plan product sets required by the Regional Engineering teams to design and implement voice solutions globally.
CTI Engineering’s function is to define and develop Citi’s technology strategy. The group is responsible for Firm-wide technology product development, governance and development of technology standards, IT Optimization in support of technology expense base management, approval of deployment designs, technical vendor management and internal customer communication and partnership.
The Voice Engineering domain focuses on product design, Integration and development of Voice Surveillance, Contact Center, Enterprise Telephony and Trade Floor Voice and Global Dial Plan technologies and related tools. The Voice Engineering team consists of 32 experienced voice engineers and is part of the global CTI Network and Voice Services Domain.
Be accountable for the selected strategy, architecture, products and standards required to enable Citi businesses to take advantage of Voice Surveillance infrastructure to maximise revenue, minimise costs and provide outstanding industry differentiating services to clients.
Engage with other CTI Engineering and Operations streams, Architecture forums and Citi businesses to develop voice solutions to meet current and future operational needs in accordance with Citi certification standards and procedures.
Proactively analyse technology costs/benefits, develop proposals to reduce operational cost and enhance services.
Publish and maintain strategic documentation that clearly defines the strategic direction and architectural vision for this technology domain within Citi.
Provide leadership in defining a technology domain roadmap.
Certify the selected technologies/products for deployment in Citi in accordance with CTI Engineering and security policies/processes.
Actively lead, encourage and influence the adoption of new Voice Surveillance related voice technologies to enhance Citi’s competitive edge
Keep ahead of the technology curve in this domain, interfacing with strategic partners and Citi’s peers in the industry.
Provide lead engineering excellence and skills throughout project phases (requirements gathering, design, procurement, implementation and hand-over to operations) of a given project while complying with CTI Engineering standard practices and project management processes.
Provide occasional third level support and working closely with the CTI Voice Operations teams to resolve complex IPT issues when required.
Fully comply with all security policies, engineering standards, project management and purchasing processes.
Providing guidance and mentoring to help develop less experienced engineers.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) level knowledge of NICE Voice Recording and Analytics solutions.
SME level knowledge of VoIP standards (SIP, H.323, etc.)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and SQL Server platforms
Good working knowledge of virtualization technologies
Exposure to strategic and architectural roles within technology vendor or major financial institution.
Experience of having responsibility for delivering complex Voice Surveillance solutions
Good working knowledge of Quality of Service, IP addressing, Access Control Lists
Project involvement and delivery including significant influencing roles
Understanding of firewall technologies
Knowledge of Verint Voice Recording products is a plus
Practical experience of solution deployments involving contact center solutions including Cisco ICM, Avaya ACD and IVR, Aspect Dialers is a plus
Knowledge of storage and archival solutions is a plus
IPC trading floor system knowledge a plus
UNIX shell knowledge a plus
BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
NICE certificate is a plus
