The Specialty Value Story Manager is responsible for developing the access strategy of the Onco and Viro Immuno Business Units brands, and its implementation through the tactical plan that grants early and effective access to private and public institutions, with an emphasis on the National Health Council (Consejo de Salubridad General).
He/she must achieve it by having a deep understanding of the intersection between the payer and relevant stakeholders needs with the BMS' products value, and reflecting it in the development of the brand value story, price strategy and payer partnership tools; as well as in its derived implementation for field communication.
Scope of Responsibility:
• Develops and executes the Value Story, Price and Payer Partnership Strategy for the Viro Immuno and Onco brands:
• Sets up the access primary research plan to assess opportunities potential, understand the access flow, stakeholder mapping and payer value drivers and integrate them into the brand's launch plan.
• Integrates payer intelligence from diverse sources (field interactions, independent forums, advisory boards, etc.) and translates it into actionable B-MS actions to gain access.
• Defines the product value story and payer partnerships by integrating the product's clinical and economical profile into a compelling offer to payers, and interlaces it within the PCS plan.
• Leads HEOR and Commercial into implementing a timely, effective and aligned price strategy.
• Presents the product's value story and payer partnership proposal through the inclusion dossier to the National Health Council (Consejo de Salubridad General).
• Identifies the relevant National Health Council stakeholders, and implements and develops education / communication forums to deliver BMS' products value story and payer partnerships proposal.
• Designs and implements the communication materials needed on field.
• Disproportionally invests the launch brand's access budget into the proper priorities.
• Feedbacks and educates BMS' (BULs, Medical Therapeutic Leads, Market Research managers, etc.) into payers insights, needs and trends.
• 5+ years of experience as access manager, related (HEOR/Corporate Affairs/Government Sales) or high specialty product manager in the Mexican pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience on designing and presenting access dossiers to the National Health Council (Consejo de Salubridad General).
• Experience into leading multifunctional / matrix teams.
• Management cycle experience (Opportunity detection, plan development, tactical roll out, KPIs follow up).
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Pharmacoeconomics.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Pharmacoeconomics.
• Experience working with high specialty products, with an emphasis on biotechnology and orphan drugs.
• Major in management, economics, political science, life sciences or related.
• Post graduate studies in management, economics, political science, life sciences or related.
