"Summary Act as the liaison between Mexico and US Training Departments to plan, organize and direct all aspects of Mexico's training initiatives, including planning, course and content development and assessments. Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives to insure a positive return on investment. To function as a training resource for all Mexico CAT/DC's AutoZoners across all functional areas. Will work with the Organizational Development and HR Directors to hold and to promote existing talent developing career and succession plans. Will involve entire organization in its quest for efficiency and cultural transformation to guarantee competitiveness troughout cultural anchors and values.
Primary Accountabilities
+ Is Mexico's in country resource to identify, implement and monitor CAT / CEDIS / FIELD training processes including training needs analysis (TNA), task analysis, creation and updating of learning objects, development and delivery of training materials as well as a constant evaluation of all existing materials to measure their effectiveness.
+ In collaboration with OD Manager, develops and schedules training programs to help AutoZone leadership team to deploy new training initiatives aligned with the strategic business plan and the strategic vision of the company. Will prepare and it is responsible for the training budget for the area.
+ It will be responsible to create, manage and keep up to date all learning objects and training programs. It will track training progress on daily bases, will generate reports and will give follow up on all training KPI's. Will be in charge of structuring training programs for all CAT, DC's and Field México AutoZoners.
+ Will deliver instructor led training programs and will conducts ""Train the Trainer"" sessions as needed accordingly to AutoZone strategic training plans and objectives.
+ Acts as liaison with the US Training Department to evaluate, adapt, translate and implement existing US training programs in Mexico. Will work in collaboration with OD and Opertions Managers to identify which ot the US training plans are relevant for the achievement of the goals and objectives of our different stategic areas within the organization.
Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: Retail, education or training background
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) oral, written and reading proficiency. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and decision making skills.
Other/Preferred: Management and multi-unit manager experience
