In our Regional Human Resources (HR) Centre, we are looking for a customer service oriented individual to provide support to our regional HR professionals and customers across our recruitment administration activities. You will become a valued member of our Recruitment team accountable for supporting the recruitment services delivery for both the US and Canada, playing a critical role in hiring top industry talent. Our team members often have opportunities to be the primary liaison with recruitment vendors/partners and to participate in projects across HR, as well as support the administrative responsibilities that are associated with recruiting top talent into AstraZeneca.
Talent Acquisition Activities - You will provide critical support to recruitment partners, hiring managers and candidates through:
Responsible for operational activities in the end-to-end talent acquisition process, in contact with line managers and Recruiters
Performing background screening of candidates to include ‘right to work’ checks
Setting up interviews, coordinating with Recruiters, line managers, and candidates
Preparing offer letters
Supporting end-to-end project management of recruitment assignments and core recruitment administration and coordination.
Delivery of an excellent and impressive recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Performance of associated administrative tasks - e.g. purchase orders and candidate expense reports and coordination of activities with various external vendors
Accurate collection of information and proper use of the systems that will be deployed throughout HR to support the recruitment processes.
Support of HR, recruitment partners and line managers with the hiring processes and activities where required, including compilation of interview guides and other relevant information.
Working with Recruitment Coordinators from other countries to ensure that Global Postings are completed in a timely manner.
Supporting the deployment of global policies at a local level, including ensuring that we maintain the security and privacy of AstraZeneca data.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR/Recruiting environment
Able to communicate fluently in English
Strong track record of recruitment services delivery as a HR/Recruitment administrator, practitioner, specialist or generalist
Evidence of use of direct search methodologies (i.e., LinkedIn, ATS and other recruitment tools) to identify and engage with top talent
Experience supporting clients in multiple locations and geographic regions
Knowledge of policies, process and procedures pertaining to recruitment in the US and Canada (including relevant labor and country laws -- e.g. employment eligibility & immigration
Strong administrative/organization skills, with proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business tools and software (e.g. HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems)
Proficiency with Workday preferred
Well-developed people skills and ability to engage, communicate and work across local and regional Recruitment and HR teams, major stakeholders and other internal clients.
Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work with confidential data
Work is performed at a desk using a computer and telephone most of the day, but may involve periods of time away from desk at Orientation or other recruiting events. Will interact with HR colleagues, hiring managers, HR business partners, candidates and external vendors.
This role is based at the Regional HR Center in Guadalajara, Mexico and will work a standard shift to support a North America customer base, primarily located in the United States and Canada.
