NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Systems Engineering Specialist Advisor to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).Must have 5+ years of hands on experience with installing, configuring, customizing and maintaining UNIX & Linux operating system.Must have 5+ years of experience in installing and maintaining virtualization ¬ technologiesMust have 5+ years of experience in installing and maintaining clustering ¬ technologiesMust have experience in managing hardware (including architecture, roadmap and implementations.)Thorough understanding of Enterprise Level Systems infrastructureThorough understanding of Datacenter OperationsThorough understanding of network technologiesThorough understanding of industry standards and audit requirementsVery strong skills in UNIX & Linux with hands-on experience in clustering, Virtualization technologies.Performing installations, customization and maintenance of the UNIX/Linux operating system and system software.Designs, develops, recommends and implements new or revised system software, utilities and automated processes as necessary.Evaluate and integrate new operating system versions, drivers and hardwareProvide technical expertise for system transitions, migrations and consolidationsAct as a subject matter expert in the design, architecture and deployment of new systems to keep the server environment stable and interruptions to a minimum in standalone and multi¬tiered environments.Proactively learn new technologies to resolve any problems involved in integrating the new technologies with current systems.Conduct project management activities for new system requirements on various projects for deployment of business functions on new servers.Transfer knowledge and provide leadership support to less experienced team members in the implementation of new hardware, operating systems and other required software on the systems.Perform Incident resolution, Problem Determination and Root Cause Analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements.Implements appropriate levels of system security.Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components.
