Job Description
Intel is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer to work in the Software Engineering team. This position will be part of a Global Engineering organization supporting next generation engineering innovations delivering predictable, scalable and high-quality.
In this role you will be expected to create, define, and develop system validation environments and test suites. You will be familiar with applying emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec and will be responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.
This position requires a broad understanding of multiple system areas and necessitates interfacing with Architecture, Design, and other Validation teams. You are expected to understand the full solution – top-to-bottom that includes HW, FW and layers of SW – in order to effectively root cause issues and collaborate with cross-functional HW, FW and SW team to solve complex issues.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science - OR - a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 1+ year of experience:
CPU micro-architecture understanding
Debug skills
Design, verification or validation disciplines, system/platform level debug and root cause isolation, methodology, and tools
Test Automation Frameworks, for enabling continuous delivery using agile development methodologies .
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Platform Debug, Stability, Validation methodologies
Server Memory architecture
Si debug
BIOS Debug
Power Management
Si and/or Platform validation
Preferred Qualifications
Linux OS, Windows OS C programming
Python programming and shell scripting
