Job Description The Associate Production Supervisor will be based Juarez Norte This position will be focused on: This person will be responsible for the administration and control of productive areas. Establish control of the resources used for the manufacture of products in production lines like harness. Assume the commitment of follow-up to indicators of productive areas and achievement of organizational goals. We are looking for someone who demonstrates: Intense collaboration Passionate customer focus Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement Relentless drive to win Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Manage the needs of assigned production areas Carry out the start meeting of the shift with the staff Ensure compliance with the Production Plan of area in responsibility Ensure that the staff is available to Lay out Make verification of absenteeism and schedule talk and corrective actions with absentees Verify that you have a copy of the updated production plan on the line Verify that you have the DHR of the order in process on the line and verify deviations applied Here is some of what you’ll need (required): Leadership Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements. Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects. Assist in department budget planning and manage department expenses. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensures compliance of standards. Here are a few of our preferred experiences: Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in addition to 4 years of operations experience. Knowledge in automotive harnesses Demonstrates expertise in complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers. Participates in creating functional processes or technologies. Provides input to functional strategic plans and objectives for site.
