About the Role
Job Purpose:
To partner with and actively enable the Location Head by building solutions, steering and owning strategic topics and initiatives for BSC Mexico, others BSC and the GBS' system.
To establish and own framework for identifying, prioritising, resourcing, and executing strategic topics at BSC
Drive Internal & External Branding and positioning for Swiss Re in the local ecosystem as well as for the location across business functions in Swiss Re
Lease ownership of methodology & transition solutions process with the Management Consultant (SI Methodology) and Outsourcing Analyst (Transition Solution team) for BSC Mexico.
Contribute towards locational strategy by conceptualising and steering initiatives around growth, operational excellence, innovation and stakeholder management.
To develop relations, globally and locally, towards identifying opportunities and themes that match the BSC Mexico´s aspirations and implement them.
Engage with the local ecosystem to propose and evaluate viable alternative services delivery for new functions transitioned.
Foster community engagement activities. Define key topics to cover through internal communication and workshop.
Implement Governance Framework. Define BSC Risk Matrix together with BSC Head.
BSC growth plan and resources requirement to support that expected growth.
Key Accountabilities:
Enable the success and sustainable development of the location by driving the Strategic Priorities across the BSC
Conceptualise, lead and/or steer strategic locational initiatives spanning across growth, operational excellence, innovation and partner management.
Ensure consistent and timely reporting within on BSC, so we can assess existing location situation.
Providing consulting expertise and program management to business leaders and strategic Initiatives lead on off-shoring topics including transitions governance, risks, risk mitigation and industry practices in the area of transition and transformation projects.
Enable leveraging of the cross functional synergies at the location and across the BSCs to ensure Operational Excellence and create value for Swiss Re
Develop multi-level relationships to ensure project delivery goals are meet as planned.
Support the location head in creating and consolidating a location value proposition – based on the diverse competencies that exist in the location and the business needs of functions across Swiss Re
Plan and execute on newer teams and work moved to BSC Mexico together with Management Consultant (Transition Solution Team).
Scout the local internal and external ecosystem to adapt best practices that position BSC Mexico for success.
Establish strong industry connect across industry associations (e.g. NASSCOM), universities, innovation ecosystem, and constantly explore and execute partnerships relevant for BSC's CoE aspiration.
Define, agree and plan internal knowledge initiatives.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering project on agreed terms and costs.
Follow-up on Employee Engagement assessment and required follow-up actions with functions leaders.
Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Line Manager.
Maintain the Risk Matrix updated and secure proactive follow-up on open issues.
Make sure that the BCM is in-place and updated.
Growth plan projections and headcount planning and follow-up.
Define external and internal communication strategy with the function experts in Americas.
Support community engagement activities.
Ensure BSC Governance framework implementation and Risk Matrix follow-up.
About You
Overall 8-12 years of work experience, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
