ML evaluation is a critical component for the success of a machine learning model in production to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Every team that uses ML at Etsy will be impacted by the capabilities developed by the Evaluation team. If so, this could be the perfect match!**What's this team like at Etsy?****What does the day-to-day look like?**- Play a central role in building the evaluation capabilities that will empower multiple business critical ML workloads at Etsy.- Build insights into Etsy use-cases, strategize where AI/ML technologies can be applied to drive business impact and use these insights to build and champion the roadmap for ML Evaluation at Etsy.- Closely partner with outstanding talent across engineering and ML teams, and drive tight integration with other ML systems to build a strong evaluation platform that supports multiple modalities.- Define clear OKRs that can help the team ensure progress towards our goal of driving ML adoption.- Define the right telemetry to enable insights for both Product Management & ML Scientist teams.- Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require!
