Job Description

The Sr. Brand Director PMF (PepsiCo Mexico Foods) will lead category and Brands integral strategy, ensure long term strategy alignment and maximizes profit and value creation, delivering P&L and SOM targets.

The role has several distinct responsibilities and priorities:

Develop BU strategic plans and budget requirements in alignment with PMF strategic imperatives and defined brand segmentation and guidelines to be integrated in the ACP
Manage brand P&L (NOPBT) co-define profitability management strategy and improvement plan
Define copy, media and brand specific consumer promotions strategy and priorities
Promote Brand development (Advertising Awareness, 60/40, Brand Adoption)
Local execution of global brand positioning for global brands and definition of brand positioning for local brands aligned with PMF's brand segment and guidelines defined by G's (if applicable)
Allocate revised A&M budgets across brands in alignment with brand segmentation guidelines
Define Refresh & Reframe innovation plan and budget considering initiatives that cleared Gate 2 of the Stage Gate process (Product Prioritization Council) in alignment with innovation priorities
Define innovation strategy (big bets) aligned to Strategic Priorities, Brand Segmentation and WTP
Generate new product ideas/initiatives jointly with Brand Managers
Support long term portfolio strategy definition in alignment with company-wide strategy
Define breakthrough innovation plan and budget for global brands aligned with G's guidelines
Define brand and product portfolio in alignment with brand segmentation and corporate guidelines
Generate product ideas and lead Refresh & Reframe innovation in compliance with stage gate process, aligned with company-wide vision and W2P

The ideal candidate for this position will be an analytical, highly motivated, decisive thought leader with excellent managerial skills. PepsiCo seeks a leading strategic mind and recognized functional effort with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and influence multiple decision makers. Candidates must have the capacity to stretch across the organization and categories.

This candidate requires creativity, business savviness, broad global perspective, outstanding interpersonal skills and a practical mindset.

Competencies required for the position include:

Seasoned executive with more than 10 years of experience in Marketing and Commercial roles
MBA required (MBA strongly preferred)
Proven record in delivering strategic change, results and customer expectations
Proven C level selling & negotiation skills
Ability to interact and persuade a diverse group of Executive Leaders (Corporate and PMF)
Strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine question, and influence multiple decision makers
Thought leadership and commercial implementation with a track record of developing and delivering high impact and successful consumer products strategies
Communication skills that are able to educate and influence management and senior leaders to act in a desired manner through written and verbal communication
Proven record in delivering strategic change, results and customer expectations
Market driven/oriented
Successful experience in leading change
Proven record of manager quality
Strong collaboration/matrix management
