Software Quality Assurance Analyst II

Job Description:

Our next Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst II will work under general QA Management supervision and higher level SQA Analysts. Primary responsibilities will be: collaborating with other QA Analysts and Development, writing test plans and scripts, performing testing on new software development and changes to existing software ensuring compliance to company standards and end-user requirements.

? Manages all SQA activities on a project including defect review meetings with IT and creating estimates.
? Provides guidance and support to SQA Analyst I.
? Reviews business requirements and creates detailed test plans and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
? Writes, maintains, and executes simple automated test scripts using Quick Test Pro.
? Uses Quality Center to record defects and to load requirements, test plans and test scripts.

Incumbent generally has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures but requires formal training in theories/concepts in own function.
(2) Incumbent has high level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under broad supervision, and solves some complex problems. Incumbent generally has substantial work experience involving complex concepts and procedures in theories/concepts in own function.

Experience / Education
Typically requires a 4 year degree and 2–4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
