As a fully integrated merchant acquirer and payment processor in over 50 markets and 150 currencies worldwide, EVO provides competitive solutions that promote business growth, increase customer loyalty, and enhance data security in the markets it serves.**About the role**:**Be a part of a team where you will**:- Actively monitor, analyze, and respond to security events for prevention of a security incident- Perform analysis and correlation of events from systems including user activities and network traffic- Perform IDS monitoring and analysis, network traffic analysis, log analysis, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms- Create and track investigations to resolution. Assess incident severity and escalate to include other teams for remediation as necessary.- Interact with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, network intrusion detection devices and other security systems via proprietary and commercial consoles.- Perform malware analysis using internal tools and procedures- Monitor the functioning of equipment to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications- Evaluate SOC operating procedures for operational efficiencies and updates to monitoring rules and use cases- Create metrics and operating reports as required for daily, weekly, or monthly reporting.- Respond to inbound phone and electronic messaging requests for technical assistance with EVO SOC products- Provide high quality customer service to executives and other internal customers of the global Security Operations Center.- Adhere to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and procedures (i.E. GDPR, PCI, SOX)- Continuous development of technical and business knowledge to stay up to date with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasure- Mentors junior analysts on policies, operating procedures, best practices, and SOC tools- Assists with internal and external audit and compliance assessments for the review of processes or collection of evidence
