You will be part of this great team in your role as Chief PS Support Architect (Director).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
In your job as Support Director Public Sector you will have the chance to really see the results of your efforts by directly contributing to the enhancement of our customers’ business and process performance, as well as the stability and reliability of their solutions. Nevertheless it is required that the person also is able to look for scalable solutions and efforts which go beyond the individual customer’s success.
You will be measured on escalations (the prevention / management of those)
Understand the customer’s solution landscape and business processes
Acquire the role of a SAP trusted advisor inside the customer organization
Create engagement plans and drive their execution
Coordinate SAP resources onsite and in the back office
Design new PS services in conjunction with the IBU PS and AGS.
We are looking for a very senior person, as we expect leadership within a team working at customer site, but also the ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems.
Our candidate must have a sound track record of customer implementations with multiple successfully completed Public Sector implementation projects. As our customers are global players and communication with our colleagues all over the world is daily business, very good English is mandatory. To deliver / engineer/ design our services globally to customers is, of course, part of the daily business.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You have a University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent.
You are willing to travel worldwide and are flexible with regards to travelling, also on short notice
You have strong analytical and logical skills
You enjoy working in an international team
Very good English skill is a must. Other language skills are a big PLUS and are appreciated.
For the position: You have broad and deep knowledge in one or more SAP Public Sector applications. Especially Public Sector Accounting, Public Sector Budgeting (Funds & Grants Mgt) and Tax & Revenue Mgt are of importance. Ideally you have worked with national Federal or State and Local agencies or international Public Sector organizations like World Bank, UNICEF, ILO and/or other NGO’s.
Project management experience is a PLUS
Some ABAP coding and debugging knowledge is a PLUS,
BRF+ (business rules framework) knowledge is a PLUS
Travel requirements: 40 %
