Sales Processing Manager Job Description: ResponsibilitiesManaging a team of Order Management professionals, driving a culture of accountability and collaboration to produce best in industry resultsResponsible for overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that work is performed to a high standard in accordance with customer requirements and Service Level Agreements and distributing team workloadWorking with Sales Operations as part of the negotiation process for complex products and ensuring orders can comply across multiple product categoriesWorking with Pricing and Legal teams to confirm order requirements and resolve queries as well as working with downstream teams to resolve order queries from invoicing and collectionsAligning final quotes, purchase orders and order entries to ensure applicable business rules and corporate policies are followedGenerating, amending and recording orders in ERP systems and supporting alignment to corporate booking policiesTracking and informing management of New Business and retention trends using order booking data, working towards specific targets and monitoring team KPIs alongside Sales Operations (e.g. acceptance rates, renewal rates, speed of response, number of changes)Archiving and maintaining customer quote histories and responding to enquiries from other teams / auditors on quotationsResponsible for delivering against team targets, reporting on progress toward KPIs and interacting with functional lead on performance of the teamCollaborating with the broader Quote to Cash team and internal stakeholders to create a seamless, efficient end-to-end processIdentifying process inefficiencies and recommending remediation to strengthen control environmentLeading and delivering ad-hoc work and Quote to Cash projects as needed, including, but not limited to process improvement initiatives, process documentation and system changesEstablishing, maintaining and monitoring internal controls and SOX complianceLeading and guiding development of team, and providing and receiving feedbackRequired Skills and ExperienceEducation and ExperienceUniversity degree – preferably related to Finance / Business – or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in working in software order management1+ years of experience in a leadership and managerial roleExperience within a Global Technology / Software Company and operating within a SOX controls environment is preferredExperience across multiple areas of the Quote to Cash process is preferredExperience working in a Shared Service Centre is preferredKnowledge and SkillsFluency in the English language (mandatory)Proven leadership abilities and an inclusive, collaborative style, with a keen desire to build and manage a high-performing teamExcellent communication and presentation skills to all levels of organizationExcellent problem-solving and decision making skillsProficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)Strong understanding and experience across multiple ERP and other Finance IT systemsExpert understanding of software product or processAbility to drive change through culture, communication, technology, and process changeAbility to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities and projectsFlexible and tenacious, self-motivated with excellent communication skills along with an ability to make decisions under pressure and set clear expectations for your teamAbility to meet the rigorous deadlines of a growth company, and to multitask and prioritise responsibilitiesOtherMust have the existing right to work in the country you are applying for (mandatory)Ability to travel up to 30% of the timeAbility to work in excess of standard hours to ensure deadlines are met, specifically during quarter end and year end periodsJob:Sales Operations Micro Focus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Required Skills and ExperienceEducation and Experience
University degree – preferably related to Finance / Business – or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in working in software order management
1+ years of experience in a leadership and managerial role
Experience within a Global Technology / Software Company and operating within a SOX controls environment is preferred
Experience across multiple areas of the Quote to Cash process is preferred
Experience working in a Shared Service Centre is preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Fluency in the English language (mandatory)
Proven leadership abilities and an inclusive, collaborative style, with a keen desire to build and manage a high-performing team
Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels of organization
Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
