**Project time: November 16, 2023 to August 14, 2024****Place to work: Tijuana or Ciudad Juárez****Position Summary**HIAS seeks two research assistants to work in a project led by HIAS, Columbia University, and El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (COLEF). The primary aim of the project is to find out the risk and protective factors for common mental disorders among populations during migration. This study consists of a pilot cohort study among migrants and asylum seekers in Mexico.Research Assistants will be responsible for recruiting participants, managing consents and other research ethics procedures. Conduct qualitative and quantitative interviews and answer questions from research participants; record data and perform quality checks on data recording.
