The "Regional Sales Manager" is responsible for all aspects of sales in the Financial Services vertical within Mexico and Central America. You will handle the entire sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, qualifying, negotiating and closing customers.
Scope of duties

Develop sales revenue from new and existing accounts with the primary emphasis on developing new business in the Financial Services Vertical with a focus on Banks
Drive lead generation, qualification, and opportunity management to contract closure
Establish and cultivate relationships with local and regional customers
Uncover new use cases, grow adoption of current opportunities and upsell and cross-sell additional services
Collaborate with the Sales Management to meet sales objectives to expand company revenue and profit
Work closely with technically experienced Technical Account Managers (Pre-sales engineers) to maximize revenues in the assigned region
Build and nurture OneSpan’s brand in the region
Responsible for the overall customer satisfaction in the territory
Ensure execution of strategic and operational marketing and sales activities
Represent OneSpan in relevant events
Manage forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools
Profile

You have 8+ years’ experience of selling technology solutions in a complex enterprise sales environment
You preferably have experience in selling Software or SaaS solutions into banks, payment processing, and financial online services
You have experience in selling Authentication, Security or Fraud Solutions
You have a network of local, regional and international banks in Mexico and Central America
You are an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in increasing sales revenue
You are self-motivated, committed and entrepreneurial. Furthermore, you have a proactive sales style and a “can do mentality”
You are results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities
You are an expert at contacting executive-level prospects and execute high-level business and technology discussions
You have a broad understanding and demonstrable track record of utilizing a recognized sales methodology
You are fluent in Spanish and English
You are willing to travel frequently within the territory
