Coordinate, evaluate, implement and verify the correct implementation of the defined Quality standards by Continental, customer requirements and lineaments which are described in the international norm TS16949 for launching and series production products.
Provide and optimize the tools for the development, monitoring and control during the introduction and series production looking for the continues improvement in the processes and products having the objective to produce with better quality, lower cost and exceeding customer expectations.
Support the information analysis and coordination of activities and persons within the team work.
Coordinate the needed activities and their validation for the treatment of no conformities of products reported by the customers and also the internal ones notifying to the BU about the possible impact n other projects in each of the stages of the product life (containment actions, root cause analysis, actions implementation, customer response, risk analysis, etc).
Provide methodology and collaborate in the quality data analysis such as FPY, SPC, RWK, Scrap, 0km claims, field claims, customer indicators among others promoting the corrective actions and improvement in the assigned project.
Detect risky situations in the program since the launching stages to look for prevention through the process which involve the PFMEA being the creation leader. During the product life time, make PFMEA audits in the application, besides process, product and system audits to continue reducing risks or improvement areas.
Based on PFMEA, create the Control Plan during the launching stage and keep it updated according to the changes derived from improvement or corrective actions due to external, internal or even Lessons Learned from other products along the product life time.
Manage and evaluate MSA, MCA, PCA, R&R for launching processes to release equipments to mass production and keep the respective documentation updated according to the established valid time to assure they are within specifications during the product life time.
Follow up the information systems from customers related to quality and score cards.
Show evidence and actions of all discrepances according to the problems resolution system for each customer on time and form; keeping a direct and continues relationship with customers or customer representatives.
Document and report the project indicators related to quality through the different information systems of the BU, plant and quality system regularly or according the established period of time by direct supervisor.
Establish, prepare and plan during the launching stage the PPAP / PSW according to the Continental PLC and ensure internal and external approvals to release the production to achieve the Customer and Continental requirements.
Document every single prototype run and report risks or significant findings to the official BQR in the NPL share point.
Ensure the warranty concept deliverable from QMP and the product training in GDL for the CSE (Customer Service Engineer) for each plant where the product is shipped.
Know and use control and monitoring systems in manufacturing like Traceability, Interlocking, MES, PDB, MAPS, SPC, etc).
Certify knowledge in documentation and procedures related to the job description.
Education (electronics or similar) Level: Bachelor's degree
Experience professional: Electronic industry with a minimum time of 1 year (preferentially in quality).
Experience in projects & processes: Wide knowledge in series production at least of 1 project / customer.
