PXS-Database Developer

Experience: at least 5 years

• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
• Design stable, reliable and effective databases • Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Plan & coordinate DB Migrations.
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Hands on with performance tuning of SQL queries and DB optimization techniques
• Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML along with Oracle and SQL knowledge.
• Provide data management support to users
• Ensure all database programs meet business and performance requirements
• Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols • Familiarity of upcoming new DB framework like NoSQL (MongoDB) etc.
• An ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and a problem-solving attitude
• Create and maintain technical documents • Experience with SCRUM
