Our company is looking for a Purchasing Superintendent who can analyze our current buying systems and create the best methods for day-to-day purchasing operations. Our Purchasing Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing our purchasing department, establishing Buyer goals based on corporate inventory needs and setting career objectives for each member of the purchasing team.

• Applies a high level understanding and application of purchasing techniques and principles to purchase a variety of materials, equipment and supplies necessary for the operation of the Company.
• Assists management to assure consistent, economical and timely flow of purchased and raw materials to support the manufacturing efforts of the facility to meet the customer’s needs and expectations.
• Observes and follows budgetary limitations.
• Ensures adherence to contractual agreements, purchase orders, regulations and company polices.
• Provides analytical and planning support that drive improvements to reduce costs throughout the supply chain.
• Reviews requisitions, quotes and interviews vendors to obtain best quality, price and delivery. Reviews proposals from one or more vendors.
• Formulates departmental goals, strategies, operating policies, procedures and directs the implementation of approved and/or recommended changes.
• Insuring productivity levels are maintained to Company standards, monitors staffing levels and financial parameters for entire department.
• Guides personnel to achieve optimum performance level.
Provide support to manufacturing on matters related to material shortages, quality issues, savings projects, and new product introduction
• Balance inventory targets while minimize stock outages, drives strategies to reduce inventory and implements performance metrics.
• Manage on-going supplier performance to meet or exceed all metrics regarding service, performance, quality, cost and sustainability
• Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP and Kinaxis system in a manufacturing environment
• Build a culture of continuous improvement

Experiencia y requisitos:
•8+Yrs experience within the supply chain
•BS/BA or equivalent, Master's degree (plus)
•Advanced english
•APICS Training.
•Knowledge on MRP, Inventory Control, Shipping and Customs.
•Oracle/OBBIE.
•Visa
